WoW Item Upgrades
More commonly referred to as "upping"--are enchantments and items that can be incorporated into armor and weapons and increase their stats. These upgrade items increase the gauge of an item by a specified number of points. Their costs scale with their rarity.
A perfectly made version of this armor is highly prized in the melee PvP community due to its ability to limit the damage caused by weapons.
Type-restricted upgrades
Upgrades are a vital component of the equipment crafting process. They can improve the quality of an item and make it stronger or weaker and even provide a bonus effect. They can also change the appearance of an item. While some upgrades are universal, others have special rules for applying to weapons or armor. Using the wrong type of upgrade could ruin a excellent weapon, and could even lead to it becoming ineffective.
In general, you can only upgrade an item of equipment to the level of its top-level counterpart. This means that you are able to upgrade body armors, helms, shields and gloves to the level of their top-of-the-line counterparts. Weapons however, can be upgraded to the level of a sword. This doesn't increase the weapon's ability to deal damage, but can reduce the value of trade.

To upgrade an item you need to purchase flightstones and crests. The amount you pay for each depends on the item's level and slot. Upgrades to swords, for instance, will cost more flightstones compared to an upgrade of a cloth. Also, you can get discounts on the amount of flightstones or crests needed to upgrade an item.
When you upgrade an item, it fills its diamond-shaped indicator. Each step raises the item's Tier level by one-third. The maximum Tier level is Tier 3. Depending on the type of item, it may take a different number of upgrades to get to this point. It is essential to note that any procedures that might be used to mount a disk shouldn't be running during an upgrade. You must also make sure that the disk you are upgrading is not being used as a system drive.
Enchantment allows you to transform white or Common items to rare or blue items. Eleanor's Enchantment Shop in the Capital District is where you can do it. This method does not add gem or rune slot to the equipment. However it alters the dimensions of the equipment. It increases the size of the equipment by the size of a creature two categories smaller, so for instance the Blaster Pistol is deemed small, while an Stormtrooper Armor is Medium.
Universal upgrades
Universal upgrades are upgrades that can be utilized on any kind of equipment. This includes armor, weapons and trinkets. The upgrade components are typically random drops, but they may also be obtained through side quests. Universal upgrades can be temporary or permanent, and can overlap with Power Ups. They can be branching or linear.
item upgrading start when "internal technology" can provide sentient beings new capabilities that are not likely to develop naturally. Examples of internal technology are prostheses or implants. This type of technology is not the same as medical internal technology which is designed to restore the capabilities of nature. It is the beginning of a process that will transform civilizations completely. The universal upgrade may be long and complicated. The process can be classified into two categories that are complete success and partial failure.
It's similar to how resort upgrades work at Disney and Universal. In the case of WDW, this is usually due to operational reasons such as availability of rooms or the overbooking of rooms. In the case of Universal, it could be a case of moving guests to a different resort that is open. This is not meant as an insult however, in the current economic climate, it could be difficult to avoid.
Unlike Runes, Sigils and Jewels, which can only be applied to specific kinds of equipment (armor weapons, trinkets or weapons), universal upgrades can be applied to any gear. Additionally, they can be applied to multiple items at a time. They are therefore more adaptable than any other upgrade type. However, this flexibility could cause issues when upgrading items within the same gear path because it can increase the value of the entire gear path.
Prior to performing an upgrade, it's important to stop the PowerShell Universal service and delete the existing application files. After that, you can install the new files by using the Get-ChildItem-Recurse or Unblock-File command. It is also recommended to perform a basic validation against your PSU server to ensure that it is operating properly.
Jewels
Jewels are upgrades that can be added to armor, weapons and other accessories. The gems and reagents that are used to make them can provide different stat bonuses as well as secondary effects. They are found in Golden Chests, Rift Incursions and V Blood Carriers, and regular enemies, or can be purchased from a Master Craftsman for karma or gold. Jewels can be crafted using a jewelry table using five of the same type of reagent and one gem to create a jewel with either a higher or lower level. This process is similar to upgrading a stone an instrument for gem crafting.
Jewel tiers are determined by the number of modifiers they have, with higher-tier jewels having more than lower-tier ones. The primary effect of a jewel is determined by the tier it is in, and the secondary effect is randomly generated and players can make use of luck potions to increase the probability of having better secondary effects.
Like other upgrade components, jewels can be inserted into an item with an appropriate socket to boost the. For example, a Garnet Pebble (gemstone) and an Adorned Garnet Jewel (jewel) both offer a boost to strength, but the Garnet Pebble only increases regular hits, while the Garnet Jewel also boosts the player's powerful attacks. Jewels can be put into every level of armor, weapon, and accessory slots, and some trinkets of lesser rarity or exotic which require a slot to be empty.
As with other DM mechanics, gems help to ensure that items feel special to their owners. With a range of different upgrade paths gems let players modify their equipment and choose the right combination for them. They can also upgrade their existing gear with new jewels if the original set of a given kind isn't working anymore.
Requirements
The WoW item upgrade system allows players to raise the item level of equipment, weapons and trinkets above their current level of item using specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor resources. These upgrades increase the stats base of the item, and some even offer special effects (such as Dolphin's Grace, which gives players dolphin-like grace when they swim). The players can get these upgrades at any upgrader NPC, or by salvaging them from items containing them, with a variety of items dropping various upgrade components.
The process of upgrading can be somewhat complicated, but it's simple. The player first selects the item that he would like to upgrade and then clicks the Upgrade button. A window will open with the different upgrades available for the item. The window will display the upgrade level, any type of upgrade bonus (such as Tech Points or Quality Chance), and the cost of the upgrade. The bonus for upgrading will be displayed below the bar that shows the upgrade level.
The upgrader will require the user bring the item to the upgrader, who will explain how to upgrade the item. The player must then provide the correct currency and, if necessary, additional materials. The requirements for this are determined by the item's level. Weapons have more stringent requirements as compared to armor.
In addition to the necessary upgrade components, many upgrade recipes also have an 'Acceptable Materials' list. This list contains the other upgrade components that can be used to upgrade an item. It also has a flag that indicates whether or not it is a guaranteed boost. It is crucial to know because the value of an upgraded item may vary greatly based on the extras it comes with, with properly roll gear worth more than non-upgraded versions.
The list of upgrade types that require crests or valorstones will be shown separately below the main list. The number of crests and the valorstones required will depend on the level of the item. Weapon upgrades require the most Valorstones.
